1,300 discounted £15 tickets released for upcoming shows as York Theatre Royal launches scheme for age 16 to 30

YORK Theatre Royal is launching a new free membership scheme for 16 to 30-year-olds to provide the opportunity to enjoy the best seats in the house for only £15.

They can book two tickets (one for themselves, one for a friend or family member of any age) for a variety of Theatre Royal main-house productions.

Shows on offer include such Theatre Royal in-house dramas as Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad and Arthur Miller’s Death Of A Salesman; world-class dance performances in London City Ballet’s Firebird and Acosta Danza’s Cuban Baroque; musical offerings from York Light Opera Company, including 9 To 5 The Musical, and much more besides.  

16-30 YTR Members also will acquire access to invitations to exclusive membership events and monthly £15 Club newsletters to keep up to date when new shows are added.

For each production included in the discount scheme, 100 £15 tickets will be released, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
