Alice Rose Palmer and Joe Parker to perform Pocklington Arts Centre’s festive adventure, A Christmas Sparkle

Alice Rose Palmer: Playing Sparkle in A Christmas Sparkle at Pocklington Arts Centre

ALICE Rose Palmer and Joe Parker will be the cast for Pocklington Arts Centre’s Christmas production, A Christmas Sparkle, from December 11 to 24.

Marking the fourth collaboration between playwright Elizabeth Godber and PAC, the festive show will take families on a new adventure with best friends Sparkle and Fitz as they search for the Sugar Plum Fairy and Sparkle’s true destiny.

Cue festive magic, songs and local references aplenty in Godber’s third Christmas show at PAC, following 2025’s Jingle All The Way and 2024’s Jack Frost’s Christmas Wish.

In the fairy grotto, everyone has a role and knows what they have to do: from the secretary fairies to the tooth fairies, the Christmas tree fairies to the famous Sugar Plum Fairy! Everyone, that is, except for Sparkle, who does not know what type of fairy she is.

Pocklington Arts Centre director Kelly Munro-Fawcett says: “We’re really excited to bring A Christmas Sparkle to PAC this year. We want to create more opportunities for local children and families to experience live theatre and creativity at PAC. We hope you’ll make our Christmas show part of your family tradition and join us for some fun, creativity and sparkle this December.”

Her theatre credits include Isabelle (Middle Child Theatre), How To Be Brave (Other Lives Productions), Beverley Does Broadway, Bombshells and It’s Different For Girls (She Productions), as well as Toad On The Wolds (East Riding Theatre).
